Girl Scouts Promoting Sex!

My buddy posted this article this morning regarding an Indiana lawmaker who is accusing the Girl Scouts of promoting sex.  Here is the tagline:

Rep. Bob Morris is accusing Girl Scouts of being “radicalized organization” that supports abortion and promotes homosexuality.

Sigh.

She wants to know what is going on where someone would even conceive of this happening, let alone jump up on the soap box and rant about it.  Well, from reading the article, I can tell you it’s the words: Planned Parenthood, abortion, and homosexuality.  Why?  Because these are ALWAYS the radical religious right-wing trigger words.  True or not becomes immaterial as these people whip themselves and each other into a frenzy about how someone might believe differently than they!

Worse?  NO ONE, absolutely NO ONE, who could smack these people down, will.  First, because these “good people”, too are bothered by the trigger words and the whole thought of, “What if it’s true?” However, the second reason is far more sick and harmful.  It’s because they, the “good people” themselves, don’t want to be attacked (BULLIED) by these unreasonable and irrational people.  Everyone has watched or heard enough Fox News and Rush Limbaugh to know that reason is kicked out immediately when it comes to nailing down any dissenters. If a “good person”  has the audacity to fight the agenda, he or she will be bullied.

The “good people” are aware that the irrational will ask, “Oh, so you think it’s OK to be a lesbian?” (I would say, yes, but then again I’m not part of this tribe).  Further attacks would be made on Planned Parenthood, abortion, and the GLBTY community, which, I’m assuming, are not fully church sponsored activities.  “Good people” are aware that it will be set up so that the reasonable can’t get in a word, and that all words will be twisted to support the agenda. Just so we’re clear, this is a BULLY agenda.  As in “we will bully you into supporting this”.

So rather than fight the agenda at all, there is the hope that good people will merely realize that not everyone agrees with the agenda.  Which brings us to: All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men people to do nothing.
