Dichotomy

I love teaching
but I don’t love checking
worksheets and tests

I love talking
but not always about
the topic at hand

I love reading
but not always the assigned
selection or book

I love a plan,
but not planning
for the week

Which explains why
I’m baking
when I should be
checking,
reading,
and planning

In short,
I’m just like
the kids

Yes you’re right, we ARE just like the kids in so many ways! Sometimes because of my adult ADD I think I’m worse. But you know, I think that’s what makes some of us really great teachers… It helps us relate to them. I love this, thanks for sharing ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh, I understand adult ADD. ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m pretty sure I have it; I just haven’t gone to have it “fixed.”. Thanks for stopping by.
