No Good Deed Goes Unpunished

While I’m on Facebook, I tend to just play a game and leave.  I don’t check people’s status too often or sweat my stuff.  However, after receiving the news today and blogging about it, I had this feeling I should check.  Sure enough, my nephew’s widow has “disappeared.”  Maybe she did it a while ago, and I just didn’t notice.

When she would update her status regarding her rehab, I would try to be positive.  I would send her little congratulations notes.  Her last update that I recall was step 8 — apologizing.  SIGH.

I suppose “sneaking” out in the middle of the night was easier.  Then again, we aren’t an easy set of people so perhaps she had some founded fears.  I can’t say.

I just find it all too weird for words.
