This video was passed on by Jerome, my Jazzercise instructor. The young black girl singing lead (OK, she’s really a young women) has spent many a summer gracing our class when she visits her grandmother, Modestine. Her name is Azia. I am really impressed with the song and the kids. It’s a great song for Martin Luther King Day as well as where we want to go as a people (hard to read coming from someone as snarky as I am, huh?). Truly amazing. 🙂 Plus, doesn’t she have a wonderful voice?
PS: That’s her mom behind her. Her name is Ava.
