Last weekend I went off on the fact that my credit cards keep being changed, bought out, replaced, etc.  I was going to go through the trouble to find a new rewards card.  Now, it’s entirely possible that I’m going to end up with THREE cards (two too many).  My Upromise card will be issued by Bank of America.  Citibank as assured me they are sending a replacement.  Then I have the Countrywide one that I got so that points could go towards mortgage (no longer offered, so no longer used).  ARGH!

You’d think with the economy in the toilet they would actually think twice (or more) about throwing cards around like they’re candy.  Apparently not.  My guess is that the banking industry won’t be happy until we all can related to Tennesee Ernie Ford singing:

Another day older and deeper in debt
