or maybe it’s both of us.
Today I picked up Tracy so she could come over and help me clean/organize per a previous agreement. I’m assuming she now feels that she sold her soul to the devil, because I swear I saw her shudder when she came into the house. Tracy is VERY NEAT and INCREDIBLY organized. I was giving her some sort of visual anaphylactic shock, I think (especially with my bedroom. It’s REALLY bad. I haven’t even posted the picture yet).
Anyway, we worked in the garage first. This is, she says, because while we’re cleaning other parts of the house we may need to find a place for things to be in the meantime. Therefore, the garage has to be clean and organized. Already it’s 100% better. I figured we could be done. However, Tracy sees it differently. We will not be done until there is NOTHING on the garage floor between the shelving units. It is my job to buy the appropriate bins so you can see through to the stuff. One half will be bins, the other half can be boxes. Everything will be organized, neat, and clean. I’m sure she also expects me to do some cleaning out over the weekend too so I’ll be ready for Monday.
After that, we made the first of what will probably be many runs to Goodwill, had lunch, went to Lowes (where I bought two BEAUTIFUL dahlia plants for $36 and promptly KILLED one, OK, maimed), and then I dropped her off so I could go get Keb.
All and all, it was a productive day. I wonder if Tracy feels the same?
We all need someone to organize us. Even leaving alone I find myself with stuff stacked up. I think I really need to see if I really need this much stuff and whether I should get rid of some of it. Brandon and April have a new apartment so maybe some things could go to them.I am taking the twins to the movie because it is only 72 and windy and don’t really want to go to the pool.
